The Proposify Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Committee provides the practice to our preaching by consistently working to:

• Educate ourselves, and others, on unconscious and conscious bias.
• Foster fairness and inclusivity to create a safe, welcoming environment that celebrates diversity.
• Hold ourselves accountable and actively champion outreach to diverse future hires and customers.
• Provide ombuds services and individual support.

Proposify NSCC Award

Established in 2020, this award is about supporting and encouraging Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) students from diverse communities to learn the skills they need to succeed in the tech industry and at digital companies like Proposify. An annual award of $3000 goes to a student in an under-represented group in good academic standing, who aligns with Proposify’s core values, and demonstrates financial need.

As a SaaS company, we know that tech can change people’s lives, but not everyone, especially those who are often under-represented, such as Black, indigenous, and people of colour, women, and members of the LGBTQ+, disabled, or neurodiverse communities, has access to the training, the equipment, the jobs, or the support that will allow them to benefit from this access and opportunity, both personally and professionally. We acknowledge that we can play a role in changing that.

IT Generalist program

This award will help in a significant way. After purchasing a small home and moving to a single income household with my wife, this is a big relief and will go a long way. This will cover most of my second year tuition. This is great because I will be able to focus more on my schooling and continue to grasp new concepts. Currently, I am able to dedicate a lot of free time to my courses and my current grades are reflective of that. Having my goals in mind, the pace the instructors are moving, and the support of the college in terms of resources and awards - I see myself completing with a strong understanding in this field. I have always been interested in Information Technology and am happy that I am pursuing it now. Especially in the increasing, tech-dependent world we live in.
